DIGITAL SALES EXECUTIVE

ROLE SUMMARY:

The digital sales executive role requires energy, passion and drive. The incumbent will be responsible for building their own sales pipeline whilst maintaining existing client relationships as well as developing new ones.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
  • Achievement of agreed sales targets
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
  • Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries
  • Sell the range of digital products and services offered by the company including Content, Social Media Packages, Video, Google Adwords and Digital Training
  • Complete administration work required for internal reporting and managing pipedrive
  • Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Gather market and customer information
  • Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure client work is delivered to the highest standards and on time
  • You will be expected to continually look for new opportunities for the business and recommend these to the appropriate members of staff

EDITORIAL INTERN

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dedicated individual with an interest in writing, editing and luxury lifestyle subjects, to join our team of content creators as an editorial intern (1-3 months) at Remember Media. The intern will contribute to the production of Luxe magazine, its digital platforms and our wider client publications.

This editorial internship is a great opportunity for budding journalists to get hands-on experience in all areas of magazine production, from planning and brainstorming, to interviewing, writing, fact checking and proofing.

The ideal candidate will be confident, energetic and will have an interest in all lifestyle subjects, from fashion and beauty, to food and drink, arts and culture and more.

You will be based at Remember Media’s head office at Team Valley.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist editors with research/story ideas for Luxe magazine
  • Create regular original content for the Luxe website
  • Copy editing and proofreading magazine and web listings
  • Share content across the Luxe social channels
  • Assist editors with content for our wider client publications
  • Work as part of the team as well as independently

ABOUT YOU:

You will be passionate about writing, researching and creating copy. The candidate must be driven, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

We are looking for someone who is confident and ambitious and who will be willing to attend events and meetings. The ideal candidate will be in further education or equivalent and have previous experience of writing for consumer media – be it a blog, magazine, newspaper or website.

You will have a strong interest in arts, culture and current events. You will have excellent writing and proofreading skills, the ability to turn copy around quickly and will be able to work effectively as a team.

Experience in Macs, InDesign, Photoshop and WordPress desired but not required.

WHAT WE OFFER:

This is a an unpaid internship (1-3 months), however we will cover travel expenses for any meetings and events outside of the office. This is a great opportunity for a budding journalist to gain hands-on experience and make their mark as a writer in the publishing industry. Internship office hours are Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm.
